Lord, help me to continue to empathize with others,
Even the psychopaths (so I can avoid them)

Lord, help me to take responsibility for my own actions,
Even though they're usually not my fault

Lord, help me not try to run everything,
But if you need some help, just ask!

Lord, help me to be more laid back,
But help me to do it EXACTLY right.

Lord, help me to take things more seriously,
Especially things like jokes about psychopaths, day dreaming, & science fiction movies.

Lord, help me to be patient,
And I mean right now!

Lord, help me not to be a perfectionist.

Lord, help me to keep my mind on one thin...

Lord, help me to do only what I can and be able to trust You for the rest,
And if You wouldn't mind, can You put that in writing?

Lord, keep me open to other people's ideas,
Even those of psychopaths (WRONG though they may be.)

Lord, help me to be less independent,
But can You let me do it my way, on my own?

Lord, help me to follow established procedures today,
On second thought, I'll settle for a few minutes.

Lord, help me to read the instructions BEFORE all else fails,
And could You help me to figure out where these left over nuts and bolts go....

Starting at exactly 14 minutes and 14 seconds past sunrise tomorrow morning,
But only if there is a clear blue sky,

Oh, and only if there is no rain forecast for the rest of the day either.
BTW, Channel 7 has a more accurate weather forecast than Channel 9.
I've also heard that the ABC weather report is quite good too,
But I can't guarantee that as I don't usually watch channel 2.
Oh, and don't forget, we don't have day light savings anymore.
